We just finished a 6 day tour in South Sudan with Juba Tours covering mainly Juba the Mundari and Lotuko tribes. We had an excellent communication with them in the weeks proceeding the tour in terms of tailoring the tour to our needs and helping with the logistical aspects of travelling to South Sudan including visas invitation letters etc. We thorough enjoyed our visits and interaction with the Mundari tribes with their unique cattle and lifestyle, it was a memorable experience. Visiting the Lotuko near Torit was a chance to travel a bit further than the capital and see the country but the price is a brutal 6 hour back braking drive. Our guide Garang and drivers did an excellent job of looking after us during the whole trip. Overall we enjoyed our time in South Sudan and felt safe and welcomed. We would definetely recommend Juba Tours for travels in South Sudan.

I had an amazing experience with Juba Tours in South Sudan and can highly recommend them. My guide, Garang, was outstanding. He shared his deep knowledge of the country, its culture, and its history with great enthusiasm and patience. Throughout the trip, he made sure I saw all the major highlights and always took the time to answer my questions and explain things in detail. The absolute highlight for me was visiting the Mundari people. It was an unforgettable experience, and thanks to Garang’s explanations and insights, I learned so much more than I would have on my own. His local knowledge and ability to bridge cultural differences made the experience truly special. I also greatly appreciated the flexibility of the tour. Since I preferred not to sleep in a tent, Garang arranged for me to return to my hotel and then brought me back to the Mundari camp the following morning. This level of service and willingness to accommodate my wishes exceeded my expectations. Most importantly, I felt safe and well looked after at all times. Garang’s professionalism, experience, and genuine care made the entire journey enjoyable and stress-free. If you are planning a trip to South Sudan, Juba Tours is an excellent choice. Thank you, Garang, for showing me your beautiful country and making this such a memorable experience!
Very kind people but very disorganized. We had to wait 45 minutes in front of the airport for the driver. The second day our main purpose was to visit the Mundari. We decided to do the sunset visit so we were supposed to be there at 17. All day we were waiting around, visiting some other things in Juba(not a lot to visit), they arrived at 16.30 to pick us up, didn't take into consideration the traffic and we got to the Mundari at 18 when it was almost dark. So we didn't see when they came back woth the cows, no good pictures. I found this unacceptable as it was the main purpose of our visit. But for the rest, nice and helpful people.

Great Tour and experience. Minimal hiking involved. They offer water and any other camping gear needed. The tribe is definitely something you don’t get to see everyday!

Superb tour, outstanding guides and staff As South Sudan is still a nascent adventure travel destination, I am sharing lots of details on safety and support from Juba tours. Pre-trip planning and communication via WhatsApp with Juba Tours was spot on. Quick to respond to questions. They Offered Terrific suggestions / flexibility maximizing time given my two day trip. Excellent support on obtaining an e-Visa. Reasonably priced tours. VERY impressive to me were the ground staff employees of Juba Tours. Upon arrival, Mustapha, one of Juba tours’ Agents met me just past the immigration desk in the crowded arrival hall. It was a safe feeling to see him there holding a sign with my name on it. NOTE: make sure to bring your yellow fever card. Next , the walk from baggage claim to the parking lot is a long dirt road. Suitcases with wheels don’t work very well. Mustapha was kind enough to carry my bag for me. He hopped in the minivan taxi with me, and introduced me to Phillip who would be my guide and Driver for the next two days. Felt like a good and SAFE handoff from one tour Agent to the next. Day 1: visited Konyo Konyo market, big Mosque, large cathedral, masai handicraft market and the Nile River scenic spot. A few good hotel options in the city. I chose the Radisson for safety and predictability. Day 2: started at 5:30 AM. took a 3 to 4 hour round-trip drive to visit the mundari cattle farm. This was the absolute highlight of the trip. My Guide philipe spoke perfect English, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of South Sudan, very conversational about each tourist spot. Overall, Between him and Mustapha, they Made me feel very safe and welcome. End of day 2 Made my Way back to the airport where Philip had already called ahead to Moustapha to meet me outside in the airport parking lot and escort me into the departure terminal. Terrific service from both of these Juba Tours employees. As per normal, tips to both of them at the end of the tour were well deserved and appreciated. Very pleased with this tour company. Five stars! Highly recommend.

Juba Tours organized a private tour that included a city tour of Juba, a visit to the Mundari tribe, and a boat tour on the Nile. The tour provided a good great overview of the city and its surrounding areas. The guides were knowledgeable and provided relevant information throughout the excursions. The visit to the Mundari tribe and their cattle camp offered a unique cultural experience. The Nile boat tour provided a relaxing opportunity to observe the river landscape. I found the tour operator to be efficient in processing my invitation letter, and they provided consistent support from my arrival in Juba until my departure.
It was an amazing trip to book with you and hike the famous Jebel Kujur mountain. It was full of fun with a lot of dancing done by the local youths. I'm hoping to revisit. The fresh breeze from River Nile that morning and the top view of Juba City was perfect. It was a special body exercise.
